Facebook Live: Homeownership in the Latino Community

Featuring Tatiana Reza and Arlenis Rodriguez With Co/LAB Lending

During our latest Keeping it Real: Real Estate and Real Issues Facebook Live Show, we wanted to introduce an important topic about home ownership in the Latino/Hispanic community.

Lissette Gonzalez, our bilingual/Latina real estate agent on The Erica Rawls Team, sat down with Tatiana Reza and Arlenis Rodriguez, two bilingual mortgage loan originators at Co/LAB Lending, to talk about the benefits of home ownership or the Latino community.

The latino population is one of the highest and growing demographics when it comes to home ownership.

In 2020, there was a 48-49% increase in Latino home ownership, according to The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the Hispanic Wealth Project. And, between 2020-2040, 70% of new homeowners will be Latino, as reported by the Urban Institute.

Our goal is to educate people within the Latino/Hispanic community about the misconceptions of home ownership and provide the relevant resources and information that’s available.

If you are interested in learning more about the home buying process and would like to speak to our bilingual real estate agent, Lissette Gonzalez, you can email her directly at at lissette@ericarawls.com or contact our office at hello@ericarawls.com
